With nearly 900 public parking spots available, there is always a space for you downtown! On-Street parking is FREE with a 2-hour time limit. Parking in Lots is FREE with a 3-hour time limit or stay in a lot all day for only $2/day!
FREE On-Street Parking
There is ample FREE on-street parking available on Main Street as well as several side streets.
Parking on Main Street is designed to be used by customers needing convenient access for a quick stop at a business.
For this reason,there is a 2 hour time limit on Main Street. Vehicles that exceed this time limit will receive a ticket.
If your plans involve spending some time downtown, please plan to park in an off-street lot.
Note: Tickets are no longer automatically waived for customers. Appeals will be processed through the Manchester Police Department.
FREE Parking in Lots
There are 7 off-street parking lots in the Downtown District, each identified by a color-coded sign system (see map below)
There are 3 ALL DAY FREE lots available!
The other 4 lots allow3 hours of FREE parking.Vehicles that exceed the posted 3 hour time limit will receive a ticket.

Are you planning to stay longer than 3 hours? Great! We love to have guests linger!
You may choose to park in one of the 3 ALL DAY FREE lots that are available. Stay all day, at no cost to you!
If you prefer a more convenient parking spot, you may park in any other color-coded lot for only $2 per day!

Anytime you park in a color-coded lot, we encourage you to start a parking session FOR FREE! Simply open the mobile payment app on your phone, choose your Zone, and start your session FOR FREE. You will receive a notification before your free time expires, giving you the option to add a payment in order to avoid a ticket!
